A skin-contact (orange) Pinot Gris made from grapes grown at Bromley Brook Vineyard in Essex. This is perfumed and savoury with notes of grilled peach, rose petal and jasmine tea. Clean and pure with a long, ethereal finish.
Single-site Pinot Gris from Essex was picked by hand on 5th October 2025; a proportion of the fruit was gently whole-bunch pressed and the juice added to a 250-litre egg-shaped tank where it joined whole bunches of grapes for a skin-contact, un-inoculated fermentation.
After 16 days on the skins, the wine was racked into a 228-L neutral Burgundy barrel, and the skins pressed with this fraction added to the barrel. It matured on the fine lees for 10 months with no battonage.
280 bottles were produced.
No animal products or derivatives were used to make this wine.
